Join us on Friday, Dec. 6th at 8:30 am in the commons for this month's Java with Jade.  Our featured speaker will be HTHI's 12th grade math teacher, Will Haase.  He will be discussing his research on the mental health of kids in light of technology challenges we face today.  For those interested in some interesting reading on the subject, Will recommends the following books:

Great turnout of parents at the first HTHI Parent Association  meeting of the 2015-2016 school year!  We heard from our director Abe Correa, college counselor Erik Castillo, administrator Patricia Munoz and the Parent Association about upcoming events.  The first event coming up:  School Spruce Up Day on Oct. 31st It's not scary, it's fun!  We will need volunteers and donations of supplies, cash and gift cards.  Look for more information coming soon!  Then Holiday Gift Card Fundraiser  Buy your gift cards from HTHI  and a portion of the proceeds goes back to the school!  Next Parent Association meeting is Oct. 15th at 8:30am.  Everyone is invited!
