Dear HTHI Families,
Welcome to the second week of the Annual International’s Future Fund (IFF) Campaign! We are so grateful for any and all donations in support of our school.
IFF is used to support our unique programs, our teachers, and school needs. IFF funds are also used to help ensure our students have what they need to succeed, such as field trips and college visits along with classroom project materials.
Thank you, as always, for your generous support of our school. |

Why Give? 9th Grade Spotlight
Just imagine what HTHI can make possible in each grade with support for the IFF campaign! The additional learning that is possible through the IFF campaign provides enriching experiences and growth. For example, the 9th Grade team has big dreams for this year. With our support, the following potential field trips might be possible:
- San Diego Zoo - for inspiration for making colorful Alebrijes for the Day of the Dead
- Astronomy Camping Trip to see the stars and use telescopes
- City College - Visit the Physics Department and their planetarium
- SDSU - Visit the Physics Department, view their planetarium & LEED-certified buildings, and go bowling
- UCSD - College day to visit with HTHI Alumni and do a scavenger hunt of the campus
- dreaming of having enough funds to take 9th graders to an amusement park to learn about "the Physics behind the Rides"
The trips in 2021-22 were so enriching, and included College Day 2022 with presentations from 4 HTHI alumni who are currently studying at UCSD (photos below)! |

Does your company match employee/retiree gifts? Many companies and organizations offer a gift-matching program to employees (and even retirees) who make charitable contributions. If your employer has such a program, ask for a matching gift form from their Human Resources Department, or visit your employer’s website. You may be able to double or even triple the impact of your gift to HTHI! If you aren't sure, or would like help with these steps, please email the HTHI Parent Association at hthipa@gmail.com |
