Additional Notes on As-Needed Volunteer Opportunities
Fieldtrip Drivers: HIGHLY NEEDED throughout the year. Drivers needed to take carload of students on fieldtrips. This is a vital task, making it possible for our children to participate in enriching activities that the team budgets can not otherwise afford (public transportation can be expensive and unfortunately is very time consuming and difficult to many locations.) Internship Drivers: Drive students to their internships. Transportation is challenging and we are always looking for volunteers to help drive students to their sites. Internship drivers will drive various students to sites within the same area. Please contact your student’s teachers if you are interested in volunteering. Click for Driver Registration Form.
Grant Writers: Help teachers write grants that will help support buying additional resource materials and equipment for the classroom on an as needed basis. Grant writing experience preferred. Please contact your student’s teachers, or if they don’t need you, Ian Eggleston, at ieggleston@hightechhigh.org to maybe assist another teacher with their grant writing needs
