The Parent Association of HTHI is pleased to welcome all of our families back to school, and for our incoming freshman and students who are transferring in, a hearty welcome to you! HTHI Parent Association Meeting  The HTHI PA will meet the 3rd Thursday of the month from 8:30-10:00 a.m. in the Senior conference room (second floor, front of the school building). All HTHI parents are invited to attend. Join in the planning of upcoming events and fundraisers, and discuss other ways to support our school. Darcy - I've put different notes for you on the different screens. For the new website post to see you need to scroll down a lot. Do not erase or overwrite any POSTS - it's okay to do that to the PAGES. If you copy and paste from WORD or another web screen it's important to remove the formatting I put notes in the pages for you. Just leave the Events and Calendar pages alone for now... There are links to the other school PA sites on the left side of all the screens - click and see what they are doing. If you can get headshots of your board, please send to me! And as before, please do not change or give away the password - but if you do just send to me so it's on file and I know who has it! If someone else needs to be adding things to the site you can click on Settings then Permissions and send them an invitation - then when they post it will be on their name. : ) June

Escrip: Remember to sign up or renew Escrip! The school made over $1,200 from Escrip last year and that amount could be doubled if more parents sign up. A PA member will be on hand Thursday to help parents who have not signed up and to answer any questions that you may have. Some browsers will not display the calendar while it is embedded in the parentpage.org site Use the Built-in Google Tools: To Print Click on the Print icon near the center top of the calendar. To Change the Display Click to see day, week, month or agenda view. Agenda view is a list of events arranged by day and time. To Subscribe to a Calendar Click on the Google logo that appears at the bottom right of the calendar. Then you will be able to subscribe to the calendar – then you will be able to see all the school events when you look at your own personal Google calendar. Color Coding: The Parent Associations use this color coding for the displays of events on their calendars: HTH – red , HTHI – green , HTHMA – purple , HTM – orange , HTMMA -blue . Why these colors? O ur school truly needs volunteers, especially with the state budget for education being as tight as it is right now. Please consider doing what you can – it would be greatly appreciated! School Site has opportunities for parents to help out. Additional Notes on As-Needed Volunteer Opportunities Fieldtrip Drivers: HIGHLY NEEDED throughout the year. Drivers needed to take carload of students on fieldtrips. This is a vital task, making it possible for our children to participate in enriching activities that the team budgets can not otherwise afford (public transportation can be expensive and unfortunately is very time consuming and difficult to many locations.)
