Donate Now to support all grades at HTHI!
This year's goal: $30,000
100% Participation by HTHI families
Dear HTHI Families,

Welcome to the second week of the Annual International’s Future Fund (IFF) Campaign! We are so grateful for any and all donations in support of our school.

IFF is used to support our unique programs, our teachers, and school needs. IFF funds are also used to help ensure our students have what they need to succeed, such as field trips and college visits along with classroom project materials.

Thank you, as always, for your generous support of our school.

Why Give?
9th Grade Spotlight

Just imagine what HTHI can make possible in each grade with support for the IFF campaign! The additional learning that is possible through the IFF campaign provides enriching experiences and growth.

For example, the 9th Grade team has big dreams for this year.  With our support, the following potential field trips might be possible:
  • San Diego Zoo - for inspiration for making colorful Alebrijes for the Day of the Dead
  • Astronomy Camping Trip to see the stars and use telescopes
  • City College -  Visit the Physics Department and their planetarium
  • SDSU - Visit the Physics Department, view their planetarium & LEED-certified buildings, and go bowling
  • UCSD - College day to visit with HTHI Alumni and do a scavenger hunt of the campus
  • dreaming of having enough funds to take 9th graders to an amusement park to learn about "the Physics behind the Rides"
The trips in 2021-22 were so enriching, and included College Day 2022 with presentations from 4 HTHI alumni who are currently studying at UCSD (photos below)!
Does your company match employee/retiree gifts?
Many companies and organizations offer a gift-matching program to employees (and even retirees) who make charitable contributions. If your employer has such a program, ask for a matching gift form from their Human Resources Department, or visit your employer’s website. You may be able to double or even triple the impact of your gift to HTHI!
If you aren't sure, or would like help with these steps, please email the HTHI Parent Association at hthipa@gmail.com
The IFF fundraising goal is $30,000 -- about $100 a student. We are grateful for ANY AND ALL donations ($5, $10, $20, $60, $100, or more)! Please know that no donation is too small or too big.

All funds raised support High Tech High International projects and activities.

Your donation is tax deductible and makes a meaningful difference in your student’s educational experience!

Java with Jade + 1st HTHI Parent Association Meeting

Please come chat in person with our wonderful Director, Jade, on Friday, September 16th at 8:40 a.m. and stay for the HTHI Parent Association meeting immediately afterwards.

These meetings are a great way to get involved, meet other parents, and see your children in action!

We very warmly welcome support for HTH International in a wide variety of ways.  We can't do any of this enriching work without the valuable volunteers who help out with the HTHI PA.  Volunteering in support of your student's school also makes such an important difference and there are so many ways to get involved, from one-time events, to time limited planning, to ongoing roles.  The richness of this school community rests in the richness of the families that make up our village!

Thank you so much for supporting HTH International!! Your participation is greatly appreciated!

Questions? Please contact Audrey Gans, PA President, at hthipa@gmail.com

Hope to see you there!
P.S. Have a story about why you give?
Please email hthipa@gmail.com - we'd love to tell your story!
