Notice of change for HTHI Parent Association election:

The 2014-15 HTHI Parent Association Annual Election Meeting had to be postponed due to the San Diego County Wild Fires with our school closed on the day of the scheduled vote.
The following is the original notice with a replacement in our recommended slate below in red, as well as the new day and time for the election.

Dear HTHI Parents,

The HTHI Parent Association Nominating Committee is pleased to announce their recommendations for the 2014-2015 HTHI Parent Association Executive Board of Directors as follows:

The official vote for next year's board will take place at our rescheduled Parent Association general meeting on Thursday May 22nd, 8:30 AM  in the HTHI 2nd floor Conference room.  All parents/guardians of HTHI students are voting Parent Association members and are invited to attend and cast their vote.
Additional valid nominations for the above position may be received from the floor during the election meeting and can be considered before voting. Nominations from the floor are considered valid only if the nominees previously notified the Nominating Committee that they wish to nominate themselves. This must be done in writing, by email, or in person within the designated Open Nomination Period.


As you can see, we still have a position to fill. If you are interested, or know someone who would be interested, please submit name(s) to one of the Nominating Committee members:

Thank you to all the parents, guardians, teachers, students and family who cleaned and beautified our school.  Also thank you to those individuals who donated items.It was an awesome day! A big thank you to Scott Harris for organizing Spruce Up. Join us for Java with Jade on Friday, Feb. 1st at 8:30 am Next PA meeting is Feb. 20th 8:30 am in the main commons ASB is selling Valentine's Grams during lunch and after school. This year's goal: $30,000 100% Participation by HTHI families Dear HTHI Families, Welcome to the second week of the Annual International’s Future Fund (IFF) Campaign! We are so grateful for any and all donations in support of our school. IFF is used to support our unique programs, our teachers, and school needs. IFF funds are also used to help ensure our students have what they need to succeed, such as field trips and college visits along with classroom project materials.   Thank you, as always, for your generous support of our school.    Why Give? 9th Grade Spotlight Just imagine what HTHI can make possible in each grade with support for the IFF campaign! The additional learning that is possible through the IFF campaign provides enriching experiences and growth.
